the horizon is eternal

I've always said I'm going to sail around the world one day, a dream to most people and a dream to me as well, however I'm determined to turn this dream into a reality.

I'm reading The Long Way by Bernard Moitessier. One of my many inspirations. A story about a man with nothing but his boat, his mind, and the sea, finding himself and denying society.

"You do not ask a tame seagull why it needs to disappear from time to time toward the open sea. It goes, that's all."

"I am a citizen of the most beautiful nation on earth. A nation whose laws are harsh yet simple, a nation that never cheats, which is immense and without borders, where life is lived in the present. In this limitless nation, this nation of wind, light, and peace, there is no other ruler besides the sea."
